HAVERHILL, Mass. (AP) - A man wanted in connection with a murder in Puerto Rico has been arrested in Massachusetts.

The Eagle-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2c4ozZP) that Luis Rosario-Ramirez, 20, is charged with kidnapping and then shooting and killing Angel Carlos-Diaz in Caguas, Puerto Rico, on July 23.

U.S. Marshals arrested Rosario-Ramirez on Thursday at a Haverhill apartment. He has pleaded not guilty. He is being held without bail awaiting transport to Puerto Rico to face the charges.

Haverhill police say Carlos-Diaz was also beaten with a baseball bat. The man’s body was found after it had been discarded in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
