FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a preliminary autopsy has found no sign of foul play in the death of a woman whose decomposed remains were found by a roadside maintenance crew in Florence.

However, Florence Police Chief Ron Tyler said tells The TimesDaily (https://bit.ly/2cbktxV) that the exact cause of death for 39-year-old Chrysty Lynn Copeland of Florence will take further study.

Police say an Alabama Department of Transportation crew that was cutting grass along roadsides found the decomposed remains on Sept. 1.
