SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The Utah Transit Authority will be replacing some buses thanks to a $4.27 million federal grant.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2bXOejR ) that the UTA’s grant is part of $211 million worth of U.S. Department of Transportation grants awarded Thursday to 61 bus projects in 41 states.

UTA spokesman Remi Barron said eight buses built between 1999 and 2001 will be replaced with models that use either clean diesel fuel or natural gas.
