BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - A coroner says a diver whose body was pulled from the lake of an eastern Pennsylvania recreation area was from New York City.

The Northampton County coroner identified the dead man as 57-year-old Michael Keller, of Staten Island.

Colonial Regional police say Keller’s body was recovered at Dutch Springs, a 100-acre lakeside recreation area in Lower Nazareth Township. Keller failed to surface after joining several others for a group diving activity Wednesday afternoon.

The lake has submerged equipment including two sunken boats and other platforms that can be used by diving instructors and students.

The Northampton County coroner says autopsy results were pending.

Officials at Dutch Springs haven’t returned calls for comment.
