MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a security guard fired at a car that drove toward him.

The Sun News reports that Myrtle Beach police Capt. Joey Crosby says a security officer with Platinum Security fired his weapon at the tire of the moving car about 1 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex.

Crosby says no one was hurt.

Police and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are investigating the incident.

No further details have been released.
