IUKA, Miss. (AP) - A 14-year-old boy has been found alive, nearly two days after he went missing in Mississippi.

WTVA-TV reports that the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office says Jacob Monroe was found in a barn on Thursday morning. Sheriff John Daugherty said he was in the attic.

Monroe disappeared from his home in Iuka on Tuesday night.

The sheriff’s office says Monroe appeared to be in good health.

Further details weren’t immediately released.
