MAIDSTONE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont prosecutors have made a deal with a registered sex offender charged with offering money and drugs to teenage boys in exchange for inappropriate favors.

According to court documents, 61-year-old William McNeely, of Maidstone, has agreed to plead guilty to multiple charges in exchange for a sentence of 30 months to 7 years - with all but the 30 months suspended. The Caledonian-Record reports newer charges were filed after a 16-year-old boy told investigators McNeely made repeated sexual advances toward him at his camp in 2013.

According to court documents, McNeely was sentenced in 1996 to 10 years in prison after being convicted in federal court of multiple counts related to sexual assault allegations at his camp in Maidstone Lake.

McNeely is listed on the Vermont Sex Offender registry.
