RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Police in the Vermont city of Rutland are investigating a series of gunshots that investigators believe may have been a planned fight.

Police received a report at around 9:10 a.m. Sunday of shots being fired at the intersection of Union and Howe streets in Rutland.

They won’t say if any injuries were reported.

The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2lcEydJ ) several people were involved and the preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting was a planned altercation.
