MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Police are searching for a driver who crashed into a college student who suffered broken bones and remains in the hospital following a Christmas Eve hit-and-run.

On Thursday Miami Beach police released surveillance video from a nearby hotel that shows the impact which left 24-year-old Abhishek Tulsyan with numerous broke bones. The student at Babson College in Massachusetts remains in a Miami hospital and attorney Mick Callahan tells the Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/2jnSYUJ ) his client has “extensive damage to his left side.”

The video shows Tulsyan standing on the corner of Collins Ave. early on Dec. 24. A Camaro hits him without slowing, throwing him into nearby bushes.

Police said in a news release that if the car hasn’t been repaired it would have damage to the front passenger side.
