LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Authorities say human remains found in a south-central Kentucky county in late December have been identified as a Lexington man.

Kentucky State Trooper Bill Gregory says the remains of 63-year-old Lawrence R. Chrisman were found at the bottom of an embankment off the northbound side of Kentucky 55 North in Adair County. Media reports say Chrisman’s remains were originally found on Dec. 19.

Gregory says the cause of Chrisman’s death has not been determined.
