CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who ran away from a southwestern Pennsylvania store after a customer intervened and tried to wrestle him to the ground.

State police from Lemont Furnace say the masked suspect entered the Breakneck Market in Bullskin Township about 5 p.m. Sunday.

The man demanded money and the customer entered the store as the clerk was handing over cash. Police say the customer tried to stop the robber, who pulled a pistol during the scuffle and ran away.

Police say the suspect, who was also wearing sunglasses, appeared to be fair-skinned, about 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

Bullskin is in Fayette County, about 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
