CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Supreme Court has upheld the second-degree assault convictions of a man who hit two women with his car in Hampton while driving to a high school graduation rehearsal in 2014.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2jRNYHz) in the appeal filed in October, Remi Gross-Santos’ lawyers questioned whether certain evidence, including the discovery of a marijuana grinder in Gross-Santos’ car, should have been allowed at his trial.

The justices agreed Tuesday with Gross-Santos that the marijuana grinder should not have been introduced as evidence, but they also agreed with prosecutors, who said the error was harmless.
