CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - In a story Jan. 8, The Associated Press reported that a study exploring the link between student debt and the trend of young adults returning to their parents’ home found that those who return home had less debt than those who didn’t.

The story should have specified that while that was true overall, college debt was associated with returning home for young black adults. The study found a 10 percent increase in student debt among blacks was associated with a 20 percent increase in the risk of returning home.
