SPENCER, Ind. (AP) - Indiana Conservation Officers say they’ve recovered the body of a 61-year-old woman from water at the bottom of the Upper Falls in Cataract State Recreation Area.

They say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene Monday afternoon. Her name was not immediate released.

Officers say the 61-year-old woman fell into the water just before 1:30 p.m. A group of people she was with at the time then called for help.

An autopsy was planned.

The falls are located about 45 miles (70 kilometers) southwest of Indianapolis.
