BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police in upstate New York are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and four others injured.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in Buffalo around noon Saturday. According to Buffalo police spokesman Michael DeGeorge, an argument between two groups of people led to the shooting.

Investigators say a 20-year-old man was struck multiple times by shotgun pellets and later pronounced dead. Authorities say four others were struck by stray shotgun pellets. Police say the surviving victims were either treated for their injuries and released or are listed in good condition.

Police believe two people fired shotguns. One weapon has been recovered.

No arrests have been made.
