MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Police say two juveniles have been charged after a fire destroyed two homes in an unincorporated area near Memphis.

According to The Commercial Appeal (https://memne.ws/2ta5RpA ), Shelby County Sheriff’s spokesman Earle Farrell says a 10-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy started a fire in a storage shed of a carport at a home in Northaven.

Farrell says the fire destroyed the home and a neighboring residence Friday. The children face arson charges in juvenile court.

Farrell says a 14-year-old was watching the children while their mother was at work.
