MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - The body found along the Missouri River near Mandan has been identified as a missing fisherman.

An autopsy has confirmed the body is that of 57-year-old Darvin Gratz. His brothers, Darren and Steve Gratz, found his body Tuesday following his disappearance May 11. His boat was found abandoned near the Fort Rice ramp.

A statement from the family says the Gratz brothers camped along the river and spent their days searching for Darvin until they found his body near the mouth of the Cannonball River.

The cause of death is pending.
