SANDY, Utah (AP) - Search and rescue teams have located the body of a hiker who fell into Bell Canyon Creek in northern Utah.

Reports say the body of 22-year-old Siaosi Brown was found near the lower falls of Bell Canyon Monday. The teams were able to spot the body using a helicopter.

Brown was with his friends when he fell into the creek Sunday. The friends called police when they did not see him resurface after 40 minutes.

It is unclear how Brown fell into the water.

Salt Lake County Sherriff Jim Winder says crews are working to recover Brown’s body, but thinks the effort may be difficult and could take all day.
