WASHINGTON (AP) - The District of Columbia is getting ready for its 10th annual “Truck Touch,” where kids can see and even climb aboard vehicles used by the city.

Saturday’s event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at RFK Stadium. The city says in a statement that the event will include nearly 30 vehicles used to clean and repair streets, to change traffic lights, to collect garbage, to clear snow and to provide emergency services, among other things.

The city says free boxed lunches will be available for kids 18 and under.
