CANTERBURY, N.H. (AP) - Police say a New Hampshire man arrested for drunken driving kept motoring along even after one of the wheels fell off his box truck.

Police responded to reports of a man driving with only three wheels Thursday night. The Concord Monitor reports that police believe Roy Hubble of Belmont lost one of his truck’s wheels after striking a granite post in Concord, across from the state prison.

Police were getting updates from motorists following him as he drove onto Interstate 93. He was charged him with operating under the influence of alcohol when he exited in Canterbury.

Hubble is due in court later this month. It’s unclear if he’s hired an attorney, and a telephone listing for Hubble couldn’t be located by The Associated Press.
