CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) - The ex-manager of a Suffolk County golf course who was accused of photographing a teenage girl’s crotch has been found not guilty of unlawful surveillance.

Newsday reports (https://nwsdy.li/2nOmkRA ) that 47-year-old Steven Lee, of Ronkonkoma, was acquitted of second-degree unlawful surveillance by a jury on Thursday.

Prosecutors say Lee took the inappropriate photo of the girl, sitting on a bench, while in his office at the Poxabogue Golf Center in June 2015. Officials say Lee then showed the picture to others.

Lee was arrested in October after golf course workers reported him. He later lost his contract with the town of Sagaponack.

The former manager confirmed he took the picture in question but would not say if it showed the teen’s crotch.
