Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin is calling on his GOP colleagues on Capitol Hill to move forward with the Trump administration’s plan to overhaul the nation’s health care system.

“House members need to vote to repeal Obamacare today,” Mr. Walker said Friday on Twitter. “This is their chance to move process forward to get rid of the collapsing govt program.”

Mr. Walker is chairman of the Republican Governors Association and also has strong ties to House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, who, along with President Trump, is lobbying lawmakers to get behind the Republican plan to move the nation away from Obamacare.

Mr. Walker ran for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, but dropped out early on in the race, which Mr. Trump went on to win.
