President Trump took to Twitter to project sanguine confidence on health care, saying he is confident Democrats will help replace Obamacare.

He predicted that Friday’s pulling of an Obamacare replacement bill merely delayed nature taking its course on Obamacare.

“The Democrats will make a deal with me on health care as soon as ObamaCare folds - not long. Do not worry, we are in very good shape!” he wrote.

In the tweet before that one, Mr. Trump was much harder on conservative Republicans, blaming them for Friday’s collapse of the Obamacare replacement bill in the House.

“The Republican House Freedom Caucus was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory,” Mr. Trump said. “After so many bad years they were ready for a win!” that didn’t come.

Mr. Trump and other Republicans have predicted that problems with Obamacare premiums and sign-ups are the start of a “death spiral,” in which rising premiums cause fewer healthy people to sign up for insurance, preferring to pay the fine, and making the entire health-insurance business unsustainable.
