GRAND ISLE, Vt. (AP) - A Grand Isle man is recovering after being shot by a fellow hunter.

Vermont State Police say a bullet from a Connecticut man’s rifle hit 61-year-old Randall Gover in the foot in Grand Isle on Sunday morning. Authorities believe the bullet was fired from about 350 yards away and ricocheted. The men both were hunting but were not in the same group.

Gover was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
