FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) - B.K. Ashe scored a career-high 31 points and Isaiah Walton added 22 points and Longwood beat Division III-member North Carolina Wesleyan 107-78 on Sunday to end the Lancers’ 21-game losing streak.

Longwood (1-5) hadn’t won since Jan. 4, 2017 when it beat Presbyterian 79-76.

Ashe’s jumper at the mid-point of the first half put the Lancers up 22-9, and the lead was never challenged as Longwood led 55-33 at intermission.

Adrian Moore and Justin Tankelewicz each scored 13 points and Robert Wilson added 10 to lead the Battling Bishops. Wesleyan had a 37-24 edge in rebounding with 18 coming on the offensive end, but the Battling Bishops turned it over 18 times to just eight for the Lancers.
