CORTLAND, Ohio (AP) - Authorities searching for a boater missing in a northeastern Ohio lake have suspended their search due to lake conditions.

The man disappeared Sunday after a vessel capsized at Mosquito Lake, roughly 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Youngstown.

Officials say one man was rescued by a passing boater. Authorities continued to search for a second man, 51-year-old John Schuster.

Officials say choppy water forced suspension of the search Monday afternoon. Crews plan to resume what they now describe as a recovery effort on Tuesday.

Authorities say the two men had been fishing. Police received a call around 10:30 a.m. Sunday saying the canoe had capsized after it had filled with water.
