SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - The landlord of a southeast Springfield house that was recently found with a large trampoline on the roof says the building was vandalized.

The Springfield News-Leader reports unknown persons “decorated” the empty house last weekend with broken windows, bicycle parts, umbrellas and a large trampoline dangling from the chimney.

Nola McIntosh of Norwood owns both the vandalized house and a house next door. She says an older couple used to rent the house now vacant and vandalized, and their son rented the one next door. McIntosh alleges the couple’s son is responsible for the vandalism.

Springfield Police are still investigating the incident but have reported the house’s condition to Building Development Services.

McIntosh says she doesn’t plan to continue renting out either house and wants to have both demolished.
