NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a New Jersey man has admitted buying live webcam shows of children engaging in sex.

Stephen Hallett was making his initial court appearance in the case when he pleaded guilty Thursday to receipt of child pornography. The 66-year-old Wallington man now faces up to 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced Jan. 11 and will have to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutors say Hallett bought the sex shows from unidentified people in the Philippines. They say he admitted buying the live webcam shows on dozens of occasions between 2013 and 2015.

Hallett was released on $125,000 unsecured bond pending his sentencing.
