The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in Tysons Corner, Virginia, is celebrating National Bourbon Month with a “Gentlemen’s Tea” menu at the property’s Entyse Wine Bar & Lounge. The Gentleman’s Tea menu includes bourbon-infused tea cocktails that are paired with both sweet and savory menu items for the fall, including maple smoked bacon, roasted apples and toasty pecan pie.

Priced at $64 per adult, the offerings include bourbon-infused high tea cocktails and other autumnal treats that pair well with bourbon and crisp autumn weather.

“Fall is such a nostalgic season for me, so I had a great deal of fun putting together a new savory

menu, refined in nature, but with a rustic twist,” Executive Chef Chris Johnson said in a statement. “The menu, while elegant with fine enhancements such as foie gras and agrodolce, is rooted in raw seasonality, inspired by the bold and nutty flavors of bourbon — where tones like maple, oak and spices take center stage.”

Hot bourbon “tea” cocktails on offer include Wild Herb with chamomile tea, Jameson’s Irish Whiskey and honey; Tennessee Gentleman with caramel blend tea, Gentleman Jack and cigar smoke; and Citrus Shot with rooibos citrus tea, Bulleit Bourbon and honey. A cold tea option is the Manhattan Tea, made with Woodford Reserve, chilled four-fruit tea, sweet vermouth and bourbon-poached cherries.

Pastry chef Heidi Kabath is fashioning Espresso Pecan Pie, Brown Sugar Cherry Biscuits and Vanilla Blueberry Custard with Caramel Corn for the fall.

“The flavors of autumn are truly so wonderful. I wanted to show them off through pure simplicity,” Ms. Kabath said in a statement. “The smell of coffee roasting on a cold fall morning while a buttery

pecan pie bakes in the oven inspired the espresso pie. In addition, I wanted to showcase blueberries and their shoulder season through a whipped, velvety custard enhanced with good old-fashioned caramel corn, taking you back to crisp fall nights at your local town fair.”

The Gentleman’s Tea will be offered Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 28. Musical entertainment will be available. For more information, or to make other reservation, go to RitzCarlton.com/TysonsCorner or call 703/506-4300.
