ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - Traffic around a greater Washington-area office building shut down for several hours Sunday night as police investigated a bomb threat before giving the “all-clear.”

Local news outlets report the Alexandria Police Department determined the threat Sunday evening at the Old Town Alexandria office building was no longer a threat around 10:35 p.m. Police said the threat was received around 8 p.m.

The building is located on the 600 block of Prince Street.

Parts of three prominent streets in the Virginia suburb of the nation’s capital were closed, including a section of Prince Street where the office building is located.

No further details were available.
