HONOLULU (AP) - The Latest on authorities’ search for a Waikiki shooting suspect (all times local):

6:18 p.m.

Hawaii News Now reports that Honolulu authorities have taken three people into custody, one of whom is believed to be a suspect in a Waikiki shooting that left one dead and two others seriously injured.

The TV station reports that the three people were pulled from an apartment building Sunday evening. Police partially evacuated the building when authorities moved in. Earlier in the afternoon, the Honolulu Police Department’s SWAT team and mobile command center was seen staging in the parking lot of Shriners Hospital.


2:24 p.m.

Hawaii police officers are continuing their search for a suspect who fired an assault rifle at a group of people standing outside a club in Waikiki, killing one and seriously injuring others.

Hawaii News Now reports (https://bit.ly/2xrcAAB ) the shooting happened Saturday morning near Club Alley Cat. Police say a man fired about 10 rounds at the group. A 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died. Two other victims, a 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, were taken to a hospital in serious condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police say the suspect fled in a black sport utility vehicle.
