SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Republican Vermont Gov. Phil Scott is attending Vermont Day at the Big E in Springfield, Massachusetts, New England’s largest fair.

The governor’s office say the fair offers the state a way to showcase its products, culture and heritage to more than 1 million who attend each year. Vermont Day is on Saturday.

Officials say this year Vermont is offering more than just products at the Vermont Building exhibit. The governor’s office says the state Agency of Agriculture and the Department of Tourism worked together to highlight the benefits of living, working and doing business in Vermont. The Vermont Departments of Labor will also promote jobs opportunities in the state with postcards of information on job openings, salaries, job locations and how to apply.
