MONTICELLO, Ind. (AP) - The body of a northern Indiana man missing since shortly after being found unresponsive in a home has been discovered in Lake Shafer.

White County sheriff’s deputies pulled the body of 34-year-old Daniel Lipps of Monticello from the lake Tuesday morning 2½ weeks after his disappearance. A fisherman had found the body floating in the water earlier in the day.

Lipps was one of two people found unresponsive early March 23 inside a rural home in northern White County. The sheriff’s department said at the time that before first responders could arrive, Lipps fled from the home. The other person was transported to a hospital.
