The video game company Electronic Artsapologized Thursday for its staff omitting Colin Kaepernick’s name from a song on the “Madden 19” soundtrack, calling it “an unfortunate mistake.”

Kaepernick is not a playable character in the new edition of the football franchise, but when someone on the staff heard they did not have the rights to use his likeness, it was taken too literally.

“Members of our team misunderstood the fact that while we don’t have the rights to include Colin Kaepernick in the game, this doesn’t affect soundtracks,” EA wrote in a statement.

In the song “Big Bank” by YG, rapper Big Sean raps the third verse, which includes, “You boys all cap, I’m more Colin Kaepernick / I’m rare as affordable health care.”

EA will fix the censored song in its next update patch on Aug. 6.

Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since 2016 and is currently working on a collusion suit against all 32 team owners.
