BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Bismarck police have made an arrest in a string of storage unit burglaries.

Authorities said Monday that they had arrested a 23-year-old Bismarck man and recovered thousands of dollars’ worth of property.

Police say the items were stolen over the past three or four months. They include power tools, hand tools, electronics, tattoo equipment, household items, and fishing, camping and hunting equipment.

Authorities say locks that were cut on storage units were at times replaced with new locks to delay the discovery of the burglary, so they’re asking people who rent storage units to check them.
