A California bank employee is out of a job after she was seen in a now-viral video shouting the N-word at another driver in a road rage incident earlier this week.

The video posted by Marshaunte Farris, which had been viewed more than 136,000 times as of Thursday afternoon, showed a white woman driving at a high speed on a Bay Area freeway and flipping her middle finger out of her car window.

“You almost f–ing killed me!” the woman yelled, calling Ms. Farris a racial slur.

“It actually made me upset. If anyone has seen the video, I was kind of shocked that she went along and said that,” Ms. Farris, who was a passenger in the vehicle as her boyfriend Shamiek Sheppard drove, told KRON-TV.

“I switched lanes,” Mr. Sheppard told the station. “Then I see her speed up in the rearview mirror. Then I see her swerve into the next lane and I wasn’t thinking nothing of it and then she came and cut me off kind of aggressively. She is slamming on her brakes.

“I tried to switch the lane trying to get away from her and she swerved the lane and cut me off again,” he continued. “I switched back into the other lane and now we are on the side of each other and she started screaming at me out the side of her window.”

The woman in the video, an employee at a major investment bank and financial services company, is now out of a job over the incident, KRON-TV reported.

A company spokesperson said, “The behavior reflected in the video is completely inconsistent with our values and the individual involved is no longer employed by the firm.”

Ms. Farris claimed on Twitter that the woman was an employee of Morgan Stanley.

It was unclear whether the woman was fired or if she resigned.

The incident is now under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
