NEWFANE, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont judge has ordered the founder of a now-closed private ski resort to close sales for multiple condo units.

The Brattleboro Reformer reports Judge John Treadwell issued an order Tuesday concerning the Chamonix Village properties in Wilmington. Hermitage Club founder Jim Barnes must close sales within 15 days of the ruling.

Officials said the Hermitage hadn’t finalized the sales or transferred titles.

The resort was foreclosed on in February after failing to make payments on more than $16 million in loans. The fate of the condo units is unclear.

The Hermitage Club hosted “The Bachelor Winter Games,” a four-episode spin-off of “The Bachelor” that ran in conjunction with the Olympics.
