GOLD BAR, Wash. (AP) - Authorities in western Washington say the body of a 57-year-old man has been recovered from the Skykomish River near Gold Bar.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says a drift boat with two fishermen aboard overturned at about 5 a.m. Saturday after hitting a rock in the river.

Authorities say one man made it to shore and called for help.

The sheriff’s office says the body of the second fisherman was found downstream.

Names haven’t been released.
