HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A man has been arrested and charged for the gun death of a Connecticut resident.

Fifty-year-old Tomas Figueroa has been arrested and charged with the death of Eddie Hernandez, a 33-year-old Hartford resident found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head Saturday.

Police identified Figueroa as a suspect from security video footage from a bodega in Hartford. He was also charged with carrying a pistol without a permit. Authorities say they believe Hernandez was targeted, and the shooting was not random.

Police said Sunday he is being held on a $1 million bond. An attorney for Figueroa has not been immediately identified.
