CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Crews have recovered the body of a man who drowned in a North Carolina lake,

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a news release that 62-year-old Victor Albert Wiggins and three other people were on a boat near a sandbar in Lake Wylie around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police say Wiggins either fell into the lake or jumped into the water.

The Charlotte Fire Department says divers found Wiggins body around 11 a.m. Sunday.

Police do not suspect foul play in the death.
