LONDONDERRY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a man has been killed in a likely logging accident.

Police say a neighbor found 69-year-old Francis Hallahan underneath a large tree in his backyard in South Londonderry Monday morning. First responders were called, and Hallahan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s body has been transported to the chief medical examiner’s office in Burlington for an autopsy.

Police say there are no signs of foul play.

An investigation is ongoing.
