ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York grand jury has determined that the actions of a police officer involved in a fatal shooting were justified.

WHEC says the Monroe County grand jury has declined to indict Greece Police Officer Jeffrey Fraser.

Authorities say Robert Litolff pointed a rifle at the officer on April 5 while threatening to kill his wife.

The officer fired his weapon 17 times when Litolff refused orders to drop the rifle.
