TOGIAK, Alaska (AP) - A southwest Alaska girl was flown to Seattle for treatment after a crash on an all-terrain vehicle.

Alaska State Troopers say the girl was driving the ATV with two juvenile passengers when it crashed early Wednesday morning in Togiak (TOH-gee-ak).

Troopers in Dillingham received a call on the crash shortly after 3:30 a.m.

Troopers say the children were driving toward the airport when the girl lost control of the ATV, causing it to roll on its side.

The girl was was transported to the Dillingham hospital, diagnosed as critically injured and flown to Seattle.



One passenger was flown to Anchorage for treatment. The second passenger received treatment at the Togiak clinic and was released.

None of the children wore protective gear.
