TOWSON, Md. (AP) - A judge has dismissed the majority of a lawsuit brought by the widow of a prominent Baltimore bakery businessman over her share of his estate.

News outlets report the second wife of John Paterakis has accused his family of withholding her rightful share by diverting millions of dollars of his fortune.

Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Colleen Cavanaugh on Wednesday dismissed five of seven charges in the lawsuit Roula Paterakis filed in November against her husband’s six children.

Jeffrey E. Nusinov is a lawyer representing John Paterakis’ family and says Paterakis’ children were thrilled with the ruling. Nusinov says that now only defamation and false light claims remain.

Roula Paterakis’ lawyer Arnold Weiner says she was disappointed and is reviewing her options. Her husband died in October 2016.
