SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) - The Latest on a fatal shooting in South Salt Lake (all times local):

3:50 p.m.

South Salt Lake police say a 20-year-old man is in custody in a shooting in which one person was killed and two others wounded.

Police say Isaiah Lucas was arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder and other charges in the shooting early Saturday in which 24-year-old Patrick Andrews of South Salt Lake was killed.

It’s not immediately known whether Lucas has an attorney who could comment on the allegations.

Police say a 25-year-old man was found injured in the apartment with gunshot wounds and that an 18-year-old woman with a gunshot wound was located at a hospital.


10:50 a.m.

South Salt Lake police say a man is dead and two other people are injured following a shooting at a party at an apartment complex.

Officer Gary Keller says police didn’t make any immediate arrests in the shooting early Saturday morning.

Keller says the two wounded people are hospitalized in serious to critical condition. He says one is a 25-year-old man and the other is an 18-year-old woman.

No identities were released.
