BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s grouse and partridge hunting seasons open Saturday.

Shooting hours are half an hour before sunrise to sunset. Sharptails, ruffed grouse and Huns each have a daily limit of three and a possession limit of 12.

State Game and Fish Department upland game supervisor Jesse Kolar says last year’s drought is still having an impact on bird numbers. He says hunters should expect similar conditions to last year.
