Run it back — this best-of-seven series just became a best-of-three.

The Hurricanes drew even with the Washington Capitals in their first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series, taking the teams back to the District to kick off the home stretch of the round. One team will be eliminated sometime next week. Is the Capitals’ window to repeat as Cup champions about to close, or will they bounce back in Game 5?

From time and TV channel to a pre-game reading list, here’s all the info you could ever need before puck drop.

Opponent: Carolina Hurricanes (series tied 2-2)

Where: Capital One Arena, Washington, D.C.

When: Saturday, April 20, 8 p.m.

TV channel: NBC

Radio: 106.7 The Fan

What to watch for: The Capitals posted a better shots on goal total in Game 4 than their disastrous Game 3, outpacing the Hurricanes 31-24. But Washington has only one goal and zero even-strength goals in the last two games … Devante Smith-Pelly will play for the Capitals for the first time since Feb. 17, taking over his old fourth-line right wing spot. T.J. Oshie is expected to miss “quite some time” with an upper-body injury, Capitals coach Todd Reirden said, and the team brought back Smith-Pelly from their minor league affiliate Friday … The Capitals have won their last five Game 5s played at Capital One Arena in series that were tied 2-2.
