PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi-based car club has held its second show to raise money for veterans.

The “Those Who Serve Car Club” held its second car show Saturday at a VFW post in Pascagoula.

Founder Chris Rodriquez tells WLOX-TV his goal is to bring people together for community service.

The group’s Facebook page says it brings together car and truck owners who are veterans of all military branches, along with friends and families of first-responders.

Events included an Easter egg hunt and a toy car race. And there were vendors on hand with military records. Food Truck owner True Paisely says he was in the Air Force for 21 years and hopes to show, through his business, that veterans can make their dreams come true after leaving the service.
