Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani mocked Democrats still pushing to impeach the president, telling them they “need therapy.”

During a Tuesday night interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Mr. Giuliani discussed recent comments by Rep. Al Green, who told MSNBC that part of the benefits of impeachment is donors hesitating to support an impeached president.

“This is about branding the president, driving his numbers down, and intimidating donors and voters into supporting him,” Mr. Watters said.

Mr. Giuliani responded, “Well I think that these Democrats are doing this need therapy.”

“I now think it’s a definable mental illness,” he said. “There are a lot of psychiatrists in New York, more psychiatrists than anyplace else. I would suggest they go to the psychiatrist, get help. He’s been cleared three times. He’s my client. I’ve never had a client that’s been cleared three times. Once is usually enough. Twice is ridiculous. Three times? He didn’t collude with the Russians! He didn’t obstruct justice! Get over it!”

He added Rep. Jerry Nadler “wants to be on daytime television” based on his hopes for impeachment but said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is showing some “adult maturity” by exercising restraint.
