BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Burlington International Airport now has non-stop flights to Orlando, Florida for travelers seeking to avoid the cold.

On Saturday, Frontier Airlines started operations of the only nonstop trip between Vermont and Florida. The flights will run twice per week until at least the end of April and starting in May, the airport will begin offering direct flights to Denver.

Burlington International Airport is encouraging people who are interested in using the airline to use the service; otherwise the airline could end service after this spring.

Director of Aviation Gene Richards says the flights are affordable and readily available.
